Introducingย Reptile Mite Treatment for Snakes & Lizards
Naqua Reptile Mite Treatment is a veterinary-strength ivermectin dip solution for snakes and lizards weighing over 80g. Produced in the UK by Naqua Ltd, it comes in a 125ml bottle providing up to 12 doses.
Unlike spot-on treatments, this product is administered as a bathing dip, with the solution applied directly to the reptile’s skin and scales. It treats and controls red mites, snake mites, skin mites, lice, and worms, and can also be used as a regular preventative to reduce the risk of reinfestation.
The 125ml bottle provides a generous amount of solution, making it a practical and cost-effective option for reptile owners. Not suitable for use on chelonians (turtles, terrapins, or tortoises), Indigo Snakes, or Skinks.
Contra-indications:
- Refrain from allowing the animal to swallow this product.
- Do not use on animals other than those indicated.
Storage:
- Store the product at a temperature no greater than 25ยฐC.
- Use the product within 3 months after breaking the package seal.
- Avoid using the product after the expiry date.
Disposal:
- Dispose of empty packaging and any remaining product in the household refuse.
Warning:
- If signs of disease persist beyond 14 days or reappear, it is crucial to seek advice from a veterinary professional.
- Keep the product out of the reach and sight of children. Remember, this product is for animal treatment only.
- Please DO NOT USE ON Chelonians (Turtles, Terrapins, or Tortoises), Indigo Snakes, or Skinks, as serious reactions, including deaths, have been reported in dogs (especially Collies, Old English Sheepdogs, and related breeds), tortoises, and turtles treated with products containing the active Substance.
